One of surprisingly many "could have been" cars in South Africa's history, the Caracal came close to production but ultimately, only 4 were built, one of which is a regular at Cape Town classic car shows. The Caracal was the brainchild of architect Gerrie Steenkamp, who was also the driving force behind InterMotorMakers, a Cape Town-based company that built Lotus and Lamborghini cars from CKD kits in the late '70s.

The Caracal used many VW parts, including the engine of the Golf Mk2 GTI 16V, and was to be an exotic-looking mid-engined, rear-wheel drive car.

We will produce only 50 of these colourful prints (in both A2 and A3 sizes) on high-quality paper with a satin finish. The prints are numbered by hand. Looks best behind glass and with a thin black frame (not included).
