Developed to counter Ford's Mustang, the Valiant Barracuda (sold as a Plymouth Barracuda elsewhere) was based on Chrysler's A-body. In fact, in South Africa, Valiant was seen as a marque of its own, but the car did carry "By Chrysler" badging.
Powered by a Slant-6 engine, the Barracuda featured what was at the time the largest piece of curved automotive glass ever created (its distinctive rear window).
This particular '66 model has been completely rebuilt and tastefully customized with striking 17-inch wheels and blue racing stripes to turn even more heads. The blue interior is incredibly neat and original in appearance.
Interesting trade-ins will be considered.
