The Iconic Autovilla was conceived and designed right here in South Africa by mating a Volkswagen Kombi with a Jurgens Caravan. This Autovilla is based on a "Bay Window" Volkswagen T2 but its original (and somewhat lethargic) 2.0L flat-four has been replaced with a more powerful 2.3L unit from an Audi - this means that hills will no longer be serious obstacles on your journey to the campsite!

This Autovilla features almost all the luxuries you will need on your adventure - you'll only need to use the bathroom facilities at the campsites you'll be visiting. The main double bed in the rear is fitted with a Dream Mattress that has never been slept on. Above the cab there is sleeping place for two more people, making this Autovilla a real joy for families.

 

The kitchen area offers loads of cupboard space and appears to have been updated at some stage as it looks modern by '78 Autovilla standards. You will find a Snappy Chef induction plate to cook on and below that a Defy microwave to make popcorn as you watch the sunset. To keep your food and drinks cool a National Lunar Fridge/Freezer combo has been fitted and there is a stainless steel sink with a water bottle and pump to do the dishes in.
