This example
This specific car is a 1982 635 CSi model with only 73 000 miles on from new. The car is stunning in Polaris silver metallic with black interior. The car has had two owners, and the first owner was a doctor based in Germany who had the car delivered in RHD as he was imminently immigrating to SA.
He also had an Alpina cylinder head, rims and steering wheel fitted by the factory. As these Alpina extras were already fitted and confirmed by Alpina Classic department in Bavaria Germany, the decision was made to further upgrade this car to the spec of an Alpina B9 3.5. This was done by fitting the front spoiler and upgrading the suspension. At the same time the car was subject to major mechanical and cosmetic maintenance, including:
- Major service
- All coolant hoses replaced.
- New brake discs and pads.
- New exhaust
- New fuel tank
- Full body respray
- Coil over adjustable shocks fitted
- Suspension rebuild
- New Michelin tyres fitted
- Corner weights and ride height set up, etc.
