If you're into adventure motoring as much as you are into classic car culture, then the iconic Land Rover must rate as a highly desirable option. The 1983 Series 3 Land Rover was produced just before the icon became the Defender, and was originally a long-wheelbase 4x4 that started life as a game-viewing vehicle.

Since her "retirement", however, this Landy has been completely restored, with a green factory finish and lovely refurbished interior with brown leather, but staying as true to the original as far as possible (original dash, for example).

Power comes from the original 2.25L 4-cylinder engine, mated with a 4-speed manual, and with four-wheel drive for those tough off-road sections.
