First introduced in 1984, the C4-generation of Corvette had a long and successful model life that only ended 13 years later, in 1996. The Convertible version was introduced in 1986 and served as the Indy 500 Pace Car that year.

This 1987 Chevrolet Corvette (C4) Convertible is powered by a 5.7L V8 petrol - back in the '80s GM claimed outputs of 179kW and 469Nm of torque. Power goes to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission.
