Porsche 911 Targa for sale

At the end of the previous Millennium, a survey conducted among the world's elite motoring journalists positioned the Porsche 911 as the fifth most important car produced in the automotive age (until 1999), a spectacular achievement given that it is a niche sportscar, but also one that serves to highlight the 911's staggering longevity and impact on the performance car scene.

The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa is a variant of the Carrera 3.2 that first appeared in 1984 as a successor to the 911 SC Targa. The Carrera 3.2 Targa was built in the “narrow-body” semi-convertible body style, and was powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2L flat six that sent drive to the rear wheels through a 5 speed manual transmission.

Initially, the Carrera 3.2 Targa featured Porsche’s 915 gearbox, but starting in 1987, these cars were fitted with Getrag’s G50 manual gearbox, which was a marked upgrade from the 915.

This white 1988 example presents extremely well with all original paintwork and interior. The 3.2L engine is mated with the more desirable manual G50 gearbox and it has air-conditioning. The mileage (79 495km) is low and it has a well-documented history to accompany your purchase.
