The Lotus 7 is widely regarded as one of the most thrilling driver's cars ever made, and made race-car dynamics accessible to a wider audience, while still offering a modicum of practicality.

So successful was the Lotus 7, that its design has been copied by a number of other manufacturers, including, most notably, Caterham. When Lotus announced its intentions to cease production of the "7" in the early '70s, it was Caterham (a successful Lotus dealer), who acquired the rights to produce the car. So what you see here is no mere "replica" but an evolved, purpose-built sportscar using a classic recipe.

This particular 2009 Roadsport variant was imported from the UK and features a full service history. It has never seen a racing circuit and has done only 6 000km. It is finished in its original green and yellow colours.
