This Cape Meander is limited to twenty entries and is exclusively open to pre-1990 cars. The route includes some of the Western Cape’s most majestic scenery and mountain passes. Participants will first head north to Citrusdal and also drive the wonderful and picturesque Piekenierskloof Pass.

This will be followed by heading south east with the next overnight stop at Montagu. Participants will then head further south the next day and stop at the coastal town of Arniston. The final day include more twisties and long straights by heading inland to the Winelands town of Franschhoek.

In total the route covers around 950 km. Four-star accommodation is booked for the four nights along the way and participants will also enjoy three-course dinners. There will also be a road book and a rally plate.

The cost is a very reasonable R8 425 per person sharing and bookings close on 18 April 2024.

More information is available on Historic Adventures’ website, while bookings can be made by emailing info@historic-adventures.co.uk.

As the Cape offers arguably some of the best driving roads in the world, it is no wonder more of these trips are taking place.
