This third generation of Chevrolet's ubiquitous G-series of vans was introduced in 1971 and continued in production all the way to 1996. This particular example is a neat 1988 model, and so one is of the later (more modern) vehicles.

It is a big vehicle, and currently set up for camping duties primarily. Power comes from a 5.7L V8, mated with an automatic transmission.

The current owner "rescued" the vehicle from being turned into a hearse in 2006 and shortly after had it resprayed and the interior redone. Not long after the V8 engine was refurbished by Alan Y Brink.
