In the early naughties the Renault Clio RS was one of the most fun hot hatches you could buy. Its combination of light weight, excellent suspension tuning and a revvy engine still delivers lots of smiles today.

With suspension tuning by the masters at RenaultSport and a rev-happy 2.0L 16-valve engine, the Renault Clio RS 182 was a sizzling little flyer. Its engine developed a strong 134kW, allowing the Clio to sprint to 100kph in around 7.1 seconds, which is still fast by today's "small" hot hatch standards.

But it also wasn't a stripped-out boy-racer. It featured a good mix of standard comfort and safety features, including lovely RenaultSport seats, air-conditioning, power steering, electric windows  etc.

This particular car has done just under 250 000km and is in good condition given its mileage and age. Its current owner has also spent a significant amount on money on the car recently...

The car is currently fitted with 15-inch TSW Imola wheels, shod with new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres with 97% tread left. With the sale the new owner will also get the original OEM wheels and tyres (but new rubber is needed for those). 

 

Other recent work includes; new front brakes, new Eibach sport coil springs (30mm front and 20mm rear), de-catting, new O2 sensors, a Cowley twin-box 57mm exhaust, new exhaust mounts, aluminium wheel spacers (15mm front and 20mm rear). The dephaser pulley, water pump, timing belt and tensioner have been done.
