Italian Icons auction kicks off at Crossley & Webb

For the next week you can bid on some desirable Italian Icons in Cape Town-based Crossley & Webb's latest online auction round.

We recently reported on the launch of Crossley & Webb's new online auction platform (view that article here), and now a new selection of jaw-dropping Italian beauties have been added to the platform.

The Italians on the block

There is something for everyone in the latest auction. Headlining the list is a stunning 2013 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster with just over 11 000km on the odo. It is joined by a very pretty 1967 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce (Boat Tail), 1990 Maserati Spyder Zagato (one of only 603 made), 1996 Maserati Quattroporte, a cute-as-a-button 1957 Fiat 500 (as well as an unrestored 1969 Fiat 500F), and a 1970 Alfa Romeo Wegener "Special" built locally on the chassis of a Lotus Elan.

There is also something for the motorcycle fans, with a 1969 Vespa 150 and an even older 1958 Vespa 150 VB1.
